Switzerland - Day 5

After taking the TGV across some of the most beautiful scenery I've ever seen, I landed in Bern where I spent a few hours strolling and taking photos before heading to Luzern, where I stayed the next two days.

Roger's country is certainly a charming one!

Pretty building near the Münster (Cathedral) of Berne

  1. We have been to Europe so many times, but have yet to visit Switzerland. This post just makes me want to go even more so...and soon, I hope!

By the way, don't you just love how easy it is to go from one fantastic place to the next via the train? SO CIVILIZED!

  2. Oh my goodness, I love how easy it is to get around in Europe. Can you imagine just getting up one day and thinking "hmm, I think I'll go to Paris for the weekend..." and then just hop on a train and POOF! And in three or some odd hours, you're there!

I hope you get the chance to visit Swizterland one day because it truly is beautiful!
